Appraiser Comments: Canada, being an English colony, didn't have its own flag until the mid-20th century (the Maple Leaf flag). Before that there were many unofficial Canadian flags. The one in the photos is unusual but probably dates to the 1890s. It is in super condition and is quite large. Possibly a reproduction, but most reproductions are much smaller. I'd price it at $400 to $600. Some documentation as to when and where it was first used would add to its value.
